Update “Spread the Love NOW! Group Writing Project”
January 8, 2008 · Print This Article

As many of you know we were part of a wonderful project called “Spread the Love NOW! Group Writing Project“. Created by those wonderfully enlightened folks at [The Middle Way], [Zen-Inspired Self Development], and [UrbanMonk.net]. The project was fantastic and led me to a whole new group of enlightened ones to read and be a part of on this crazy path we each share yet walk alone. To read Beyond Zen’s part of the project, check out this post: A Story of Compassion and Dying.
I want all of our readers to also enjoy some of the great writing from this project; stories of compassion, concepts of compassion from many spiritual themes, and discussions on definition of the word “Compassion”. The list is below, enjoy!

Your post on compassion was beautiful and I am so happy you had a friend to send you such a touching message when you needed it. Thank you for including the whole list for this group writing project. I’ve read a bunch and there are a lot of wonderful posts on compassion and I still have some more to take a look at! Gratefully, Jenny

Wow… it ALL circles back around to LOVE !
Spread the Love Now and you’ve given ‘linking
love’ to those of us who participate.
I almost wrote participated, but that would put
the project in a past tense… we need to hold
it front and center to keep on…
Spreading the Love Now !
Thank you so very much Kris for this round up.

Thanks Deb, yes, we can spread the love in many ways. One of which is good circulation of links.
Nice to have you dropping by.

Kris, that’s the old list. There was at least one correction made because the entry from my blog was left off the list, but there may have been others too. It depends from which monk you got the list
Nice of you to post all the entries, thanks for that
Hi Jacob, sorry about that, I thought I had gotten them all. In the next day or so I’ll make sure to update and get everyone on the list.
Thank you much,
Kris
