Reiki Healing is a very old method of moving and using Ki (Qi, Chi, Prana, etc) energy for greater health and well being. I started dreaming of odd symbols about seven years ago so I started researching what they could be. The closest thing they came to was symbols used in traditional Reiki, used to enhance or set intention of how to move the energy. From there I decided to try getting some Reiki as a treatment and I felt great and could really feel energy moving in my body. After that I thought I would get a Reiki attunement and see if I could play with or work with the energy. Each of us has the ability to move energy and one not need to be specifically trained to do so but with training one can utilize it much better. Same goes for Qigong, if you have ever takena Qigong or Tai Chi class you can see that after some instruction you can move Chi in your own body. After going through Reiki training in the first two levels it took me several years (seven is more like it) to use it and play with it and I didn’t use it as a way to make money but I did use it as a way to work on others for mine and their growth. Today I am a Reiki Master, pretty much a fancy term for I have completed the final course in Reiki that has taught me further on how to be a teacher, which is what I feel drawn to. Reiki for me has been a tool in my own spiritual growth, it’s been a way to aide in meditation, increasing my empathic ability, increasing my intuition and in general increasing my health and well being by increasing my ability to move chi in my body. Much the same can be said for Qigong practice as it has give back as much as Reiki. In fact, due to my Reiki training I feel my ability to work with Chi as increased and made my Qigong practice that much more profound. My vision? I’m on a path of growth for myself as well as for others (the Buddhist in me), I want to be able to teach people to work with Chi and improve their lives as a result. New Reiki I & II 8 Week Course Study (@ August Moon Center - Vancouver, WA) Class Limit 10 People, Pre-registration required, Eight Tuesdays Starting March 4th, 2008, 6 to 9pm Tuition: $160 - Former students returning, please contact me for prices.

Purpose: To teach Reiki in a traditional Usui format, over time and giving students more insight into Reiki as well as where it overlaps into other areas of Chi study from other geographical regions of the world. Students will learn the basic Usui Reiki instruction and attunements as handed down through the lineage from Master Usui. Students will also learn more collateral information such as specific hand positions for specific conditions, use of Reiki techniques as well as Qigong medical techniques for determining conditions that need Reiki. Including introduction to Chakra’s, balancing and working with yours and other’s Chakra system. At the end of the class each student will be certified Reiki I & II practitioners. Although most material is handed down and must be taught, this class is also an open discussion format and students are encouraged to participate in sharing information as well as experienced. Full course includes all handed down material and attunements from Master Usui, as well as instruction and practice with a new meditation at the end of each class as well as practical exercises and information for your growth. Reiki Treatments: At this time I do not use Reiki as a daily practice on others, my focus is using Reiki as a tool in spiritual development and how other’s can use it in the same way. Private Classes: Reiki I & II (Scheduled over a weekend intensive class) - Students are given traditional attunements as well as instruction on the following:

  • Traditional hand positions
  • How to do a Reiki session on self and others
  • Mindful meditation instruction
  • Method of scanning for Chi imbalance (Includes Qigong healing Scanning method)
  • Introduction to the Chakra system
  • Healing guide for specific conditions
  • Introduction to the Reiki II symbols and how to use them
  • Introduction to distance healing
  • Methods for using Reiki to enhance other practices
  • This class is a combination of lecture and hands on experience with ample time to master the material.

Cost: $250.00 with a $75.00 non-refundable deposit (sliding scale available, please contact for information) Reiki III/Master (Scheduled over a weekend intensive class) - Students are given traditional attunements as well as instruction on the following:

  • Recieve Reiki III/Master Attunement
  • Instruction for giving Reiki I, II, III, and Master Attunements
  • Instruction on an additional two Tibetan symbols for a total of six
  • Guided Attunement practice and instruction
  • Advanced Chakra lecture and meditation instruction by Chakra
  • Advanced hand positions for specific conditions
  • Teaching Reiki scenario discussion & suggestions
